DenverClerk and Recorder to Expand Availability for In-Person Services

DENVER- More Denverites will be able to obtain in-person services starting May 3, as the Office of the Denver Clerk and Recorder will nearly double its capacity for in-person services. This is the first phase in an incremental re-opening of the office for in-person services. The office will modify hours and availability of appointments as public health orders and current pandemic conditions allow.

“The Recording and Marriage teams are looking forward to offering expanded in-person services  starting next week,” said Clerk and Recorder Paul López. “With more appointments, we’re giving residents more opportunities to get the vital services they need from our office.”

Additionally, the office will reserve special hours for older residents every Monday in May, from 8:20 a.m. to 9:20 a.m.  For additional details on these reserved hours, call 303-864-8400 or dial 311 in Denver.

“We also recognize that some of our older residents may be experiencing barriers to our online services,” López said. “We want to be sure that everyone can get the service they need, as safely as possible.”

The office will adhere to all COVID guidelines by practicing physical distancing and sanitation practices, and face coverings are required for customers in the Webb Building. For the safety of our staff and fellow customers, sick customers are asked to stay home.

Remote services are still available for those who prefer to work with the office through online, mail, or drop box means.
