Denver Utilities Online

Denver is expanding solid waste services in 2023 with a new fee based on trash cart size. Weekly recycling and invoicing will begin in January and compost service will be rolled out throughout 2023. Rebates are available based on income and household size.

All compost customers can now manage their billing account and pay online through Denver Utilities Online. It is also available to all Denver Solid Waste Management customers for managing their trash/recycling services and signing up for compost!

Attention compost customers

  • Our team is currently addressing the issues with online payments and credit cards. Please come back in one week to make payments. There will be no impact to your service.
  • If you paid in full for the year, please disregard the latest invoice, which was sent in error.

Denver Utilities Online Login

Compost customers: Denver Utilities Online now supports auto-pay as a convenient way to pay quarterly compost invoices. We encourage users to sign up for auto-pay and e-billing. Customers who would prefer to pay for the full year in advance should mail a check for $107 following the instructions on the invoice.

If you have had difficulty receiving email invoices, please check junk and spam folders for filtered messages from Denver Utilities Online and add the @denvercity.onmicrosoft.com service as a trusted sender to ensure you receive future messages.

Step 4.Compost Customers: Enter your compost account ID

All existing compost customers need to log in with their pre-existing Account ID, which can be found on your invoice. If you do not know your ID, please call 311 (720) 913-1311.

If you are not a compost customer, you will not need to enter an account ID.

Step 5.Add your service address(es)

Residents are able to manage service and billing for multiple addresses. The billing account is now tied to the person, not the address.
