In the endemic phase of COVID-19, the ways in which we collect and analyze data has changed. In November 2023, the Denver Department of Public Health & Environment (DDPHE) updated and streamlined COVID-19 dashboards to better reflect the current state of COVID-19 in Denver. Data included in this dashboard only include PCR tests administered in healthcare settings and do not include at-home COVID-19 tests. This means there are likely other cases of COVID-19 in Denver that are unreported, and the incidence rate may not accurately reflect COVID-19 in the community. While our exact count of COVID-19 looks lower than it likely is, we continue to utilize the available data to track general disease trends in the community.
Find additional information about COVID-19 testing and vaccination on our website.
Additional information about how COVID-19 data is currently collected and reported can be found on the Denver Department of Public Health & Environment blog post.
Data on this dashboard is updated weekly by Friday at 5 p.m.
Historic COVID-19 data for the City and County of Denver is available. Information in these dashboards includes comprehensive data collected by state, city, and private entities during the COVID-19 pandemic from the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020 to the end of the public health emergency in May 2023.
