When implementing trail improvements, construction may require temporary detours. DPR is committed to providing the safest detours available for the shortest amount of time necessary to minimize impacts to users. Although we make every attempt to keep the public informed about the status of our trails, park walks and other amenities, there are times when they must be closed immediately and may not be noted on our website.  Please be aware of unforeseen conditions due to weather or other unexpected events and be prepared to use alternate routes if necessary.
