Important Information for November 1
Permit applications for 2025 Special Occasions are accepted beginning at 8:00am MST on Friday, November 1 via email only.
2025 Application(PDF, 729KB)
Prior to submitting your application, please ensure and review the following:
- You have the proper signature on your application. Failure to have the proper signature (correct Authorized Agent) on an application will result in the application being rejected and will require resubmittal. If there is a change to the Authorized Agent from prior permits, please submit an Agent Change letter(PDF, 70KB) along with the application
- If your date is flexible, please include alternative dates in the “Description” section – in order of preference
Application Process
- DO NOT submit your application multiple times. It bogs down the system and slows the process down for all
- All complete applications are to be emailed to park.permits@denvergov.org beginning at 8:00am MST on November 1, 2024. Applications received prior to 8am will be rejected and must be resubmitted.
- Applications will be reviewed in the order they were received
- **If there are questions/issues with an application, Parks Permit Staff will reach out to the applicant or Representative (Authorized Agent) listed on the application via email and phone. That person must call Parks Permit Office staff member back within 20 minutes. If that deadline is missed, the application will be rejected, and applicant will need to reapply
- All applicants that applied on November 1 will be contacted on November 1, 2024
- For applications submitted November 2 or later, please allow 3 business days for a response
Individual Applicants:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Individual applicants may have someone else submit the application, but the name of the individual applicant under which the permit will be issued must be listed and have signed the application

- The Authorized Agent must be at least 18 years old and an employee, board member, or authorized with a letter(PDF, 70KB) on organization letterhead signed by an authorized employee or board member
- A new Authorized Agent must provide an authorization letter(PDF, 70KB) at the time of application
- An Authorized Agent may have someone else submit the application, but the name of the organization under which the permit will be issued must be listed as the applicant and signed by the Authorized Agent
- IMPORTANT: This individual will be the ONLY person receiving communication from the Parks Permit Office until the organization provides a letter stating a change in the representative
- If the organization is a nonprofit, 501c3 verification must be submitted with the application: IRS Determination Letter or Letter of Registration/Certificate from the Colorado Secretary of State
