Pool Party Rooms

How do I reserve a Pool Party Room?

Reservations are made online only. Front desk staff cannot accept paper applications or hold dates. Visit the Online Service Center to check availability and make your reservation. (this is the same site used for class and swim lesson registration)

What are the fees, what’s included, and how many people can I bring? 

Pricing and capacity vary by location (see chart below). Rentals include: 

• Access to the Pool Party Room 
• Pool Party Host
• Entry for guests for 2 hours

Additional guests will not receive a wristband, must pay the entry fee or have a membership, and are subject to capacity limits at arrival time.

When should I book?

• Reservations must be made at least 30 days in advance.
• No exceptions due to Center staffing needs

Can I bring food?

• Food and non-alcoholic beverages are allowed in the Pool Party Room.
• Glass or ceramic containers are not allowed
• We HIGHLY RECOMMEND that guests swim BEFORE eating to avoid getting sick. It is DPR’s policy to shut down the pool between 1 – 24 hours after a pool is contaminated. Refunds will not be issued for unexpected closures caused by patrons
• Food is NOT permitted on the pool deck or anywhere else in the Center.
• Alcohol, tobacco, and drugs are prohibited on the property. Violations may result in immediate removal and suspension

Can I bring decorations?

• Yes! You may decorate the Pool Party Room
• Do not use tape on the painted walls
• Cabinets and their contents are not available for use
• Helium balloons and confetti are NOT allowed in the center, including balloons with confetti inside, confetti poppers and cannons, and any small decorative pieces

When can I access the room?

• You have access to the room 15 minutes before and after your rental time for set up/clean up ONLY
• Party guests must vacate the room at the end of the rental time. Party guests wanting to swim for additional time must check in at the front desk again to pay for a day pass or scan membership card
• The Pool Party Host will assist with setup/cleanup

What does the Pool Party Host do?

• Ensures the room is clean upon arrival
• Assists in bringing in supplies and setup
• Provides wristbands for guests and helps with amenities
• Assists with cleanup and loadout after the party

What Pool Rules I should know?

• Lifeguards ensure safety, but parents and permit holders must enforce Pool Rules
• Adult-to-child ratios:
  • 1 adult per 5 children (age 5 and under)
  • 1 adult per 10 children (age 6 and older)
  • This applies in the water, on deck, and in the party room

• Children aged five or younger and those in lifejackets must be with a parent or guardian at all times
• Violations of Pool Rules, Code of Conduct, or Rental agreement may result
  • Time-out from activities
  • Expulsion from the Center
  • Suspension (depending on severity)

What if I need to change or cancel my reservation?

• Date Change: Email RecreationCenterRentals@denvergov.org at least 7 days before your event. New date must still be 30 days in advance and is subject to availability
• Cancelation: Email at least 7 days before your event to receive a refund.
• No refunds for cancellations made less than 7 days before the rental
