2023 Vision Plan:
A Vision Plan was completed in July 2023 for La Alma-Lincoln Park, illustrating the community vision for the future of the beloved neighborhood park. “Alma” translates to “soul” and this park has been the heart and soul of the surrounding neighborhood through a rich and diverse history. The Vision Plan provides a conceptual design vision for physical changes to La Alma-Lincoln Park that represent community input and priorities. It will serve as a guide for future improvements to the park, including exciting features like anew cultural story and exercise loop, restored amphitheater and new plaza, a roller loop and picnic grove, improved sports fields, enhanced lighting and safety, and more.
Check out a short summary overview of the Vision Plan, which includes highlights of the process + final design:
The Vision Plan came together through more than 2,000 touch-points of public feedback, collected throughout three phases of the project between 2022-2023. Input was received through public meetings, surveys, one-on-one conversations with Community Connectors, a Stakeholder Advisory Committee, and more.
