September 2021 Project Update

McWilliams Park is scheduled to be under construction this fall. This project includes major improvements along Harvard Gulch. Elevate Denver Bond funded improvements include the picnic area, basketball courts and playground upgrades, including the refurbishment of the beloved purple dinosaur.  Denver Parks & Recreation has also partnered with the Denver Department of Transportation & Infrastructure for a water quality feature and filling a sidewalk gap along Yale Avenue. Turf conversions and irrigation system upgrades will create an efficient system that uses less water and provides perennial beds for pollinators and native grasses along the gulch.
