Eisenhower Park Picnic Improvements

Eisenhower Park Picnic Area

This is a picnic site improvement project. The existing shelter will be renovated or replaced based on public feedback and budgetary constrains. The picnic amenities around the site will be improved for better circulation and ADA compliance. An expanded and improved walkway to the picnic site will be implemented as part of this project.

Project Update | Dec. 2023

Improvements are starting the week of Dec. 24 at Eisenhower Park thanks to the Elevate Denver Bond and Parks Legacy Funds! During the first phase, accessible sidewalks will be installed to provide access along the pool and to connect the playground to the picnic site. Picnic tables, grills, and a new shelter will be constructed next. Work is expected to be completed by summer 2024. A section of the recreation center parking lot will be utilized for construction - we apologize for the inconvenience.
