Active Older Adults (AOA)

Active Older Adults (AOA) programs engage adults ages 50+ in wellness, exercise & leisure activities that support healthy aging. AOA programming includes outdoor excursions, luncheons, clubs, art classes & other drop-in activities.

Adaptive Recreation (ADR)

These therapeutic programs and leisure activities are offered to people of all ages with disabilities. Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists and other team members create opportunities to improve quality of life, foster independence, and boost self-esteem.

Alternative Sports (AS)

Alternative Sports offers the opportunity to be active outside and try new things. Program includes biking, climbing, skateboarding, disc golf and more.

Aquatics (AQ)

Find swim lessons for all ages, various adult aqua-fitness classes, and drop-in pool schedules.

Arts & Culture (ARTS)

A variety of art classes are available to everyone from early childhood to teens and adults. Art programs include sewing, drawing and painting, ceramics and pottery, along with many other crafts and special events.

Environmental Education (EE)

A variety of educational outdoor activities are offered to all ages from toddlers to adults, including birding, nature walks, presentations and more.

Fitness & Wellness (FIT)

Find a wide variety of instructor-led classes at various recreation centers for different skill and activity levels.

MY Denver Youth Programs (MYD)

Free programming for youth ages 5-18, including structured and drop-in activities, field trips, family fun & special events.

Outdoor Recreation (ODR)

Outdoor Recreation provides a diverse range of activities for all ages! Winter programs include hiking excursions, snowshoeing, skiing/snowboarding, family events, and various outdoor adventures for both youth and adults.

Adult Sports: CityWide Sports (CWS)

Men's, Women's and Co-Ed sports leagues and lessons including: basketball, dodgeball, pickleball, volleyball and more.

Youth Sports (YS)

Denver Youth Sports offers a vibrant, energetic atmosphere where kids can discover the fundamentals of various team and individual sports. Our winter lineup features basketball, gymnastics, cheerleading, tennis, and much more!

Denver Parks and Recreation (DPR) strives to provide an environment that welcomes diversity and empowers communities to create a better place in which everyone can live and thrive. Inclusion support options are available for people with disabilities when registering for activities. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify.
