DenverConnect is a mobile resource center designed to connect older adults 60+ with information. DenverConnect will bring city services and resources to neighborhoods, assisted living centers, and places where large concentrations of older adults are gathered. The program targets low-income and racial/ethnic minorities.
The van is equipped with an ADA accessible ramp and an interior that functions as a technology-based, pop-up office. The exterior wrap-around graphics and awning welcomes older adults to engage with navigators that can assist with on-line access to SNAP, LEAP, food, housing, medical and other resources for virtually any need. DenverConnect also educates older adults and caregivers on frauds, scams and elder abuse.
