Historic inequities and systemic marginalization continue to prevent Denver’s underserved business owners from scaling to sustainable growth and building multi-generational wealth. These challenges primarily stem from decades of a lack of access to capital. Beginning in 2022, Denver dedicated 1% of its retail marijuana sales tax rate for The Herman Malone Fund, which is intended to expand access to capital for diverse-owned Denver startups and early-stage companies.
Future programming will be announced at a later date.
