The Technology Employment in Colorado Partnership program (TECP) is a statewide initiative committed to building a skilled and diverse workforce to meet the rising demand in cybersecurity, aerospace, information technology (IT), and advanced manufacturing. Backed by substantial support from the U.S. Department of Labor and the Economic Development Administration, TECP is creating meaningful career pathways and helping secure Colorado’s leadership in these vital industries.

Overview

For over a decade, TECP has been a driving force in tech workforce development—championing both seasoned professionals and those newly exploring careers in the technology sector. The program now reaches across the state, serving individuals who are unemployed or underemployed and have 1+ years of experience or allowable credentials in IT or advanced manufacturing.

Denver Workforce Development (DWD) has also been awarded $2.4M from the Economic Development Administration's (EDA) Good Jobs Challenge funding to support TECP Space programming. The project will bring together industry, education and workforce organizations to train Coloradans for in-demand aerospace jobs.

Jobseekers

Jobseekers looking to be part of this program must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Unemployed and underemployed individuals with a passion and aptitude for a career in the selected sectors.
  • Experienced workers unemployed or underemployed who have at least 1 year of work experience or hold recognized credentials in IT or advanced manufacturing.
  • 17-year-olds and up, not currently enrolled in a school system with a HS Diploma or equivalent.
