Denver Economic Development & Opportunity, in partnership with The Fax Partnership and Mile High United Way, is now accepting applications for grants up to $15,000 and technical assistance to businesses economically impacted by specified public construction projects.
While these infrastructure projects provide long-term benefits of improved mobility and livability, in the short-term they can disproportionately burden Denver’s small, neighborhood-serving businesses.
The current round of funding is focused on small businesses that have been impacted by the following city-funded construction project(s):
- East Colfax Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Construction: East Colfax Ave from Glencoe Street to Ivy Street for BRT construction occurring June 2025 – July 2026.
- East Colfax Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Construction: East Colfax Ave from Ivy Street to Yosemite Street for BRT construction occurring Jan 2026 – July 2026.
NOTE: Businesses located west of Glencoe Street are no longer eligible to apply.
