Park Ave, 20th St, & 22nd St Corridor Safety Improvements

This project implements safety improvements identified through multiple Roadway Safety Audits along Park Ave, 20th St, and 22nd St between I-25 and Broadway. The corridor was prioritized because of its crash history and the opportunity to reduce the risk of future serious and fatal crashes, consistent with Denver's Vision Zero principles. Planned Improvements Include:

• Enhanced pedestrian crossings

• Corner curb extensions (bulb-outs)

• Median modifications

• Protected bike lane enhancements at key intersections

The project will also incorporate green infrastructure where feasible to improve stormwater management, enhance water quality, and support the City's Climate Action, Sustainability, and Resiliency goals.
