Louisiana and South Pearl Street Intersection Improvements

This project will enhance drainage in the intersection of E Louisiana Ave and South Pearl Street by making necessary surface and inlet improvements.

Project Benefits

  • Alleviate drainage issues to prevent future flooding
  • Provide new pavement, curbs, sidewalks, inlets and landscaping
  • Provide new crosswalk striping, maintained shared bicycle lanes and new ADA compliant curb ramps to address safety and comfort
  • Detours and impacts to bus and bike routes expected 

Ways We Are Reducing Impacts

  • Business, pedestrian and residential access maintained at all times
  • One lane of westbound traffic on Louisiana will be maintained at all times
