The project is scheduled to be complete in spring 2023.
Travel Information
Expect single lane closures on 20th Street, one lane in each direction, with no more than a single lane in each direction to be closed at any given time. Additional lane closures could occur on Platte Avenue below 20th Street with a bike path closure along the Platte River. All lane closures occur between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Westbound lane closures from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Eastbound lane closed 24/7. The work zone in the westbound through lane will allow traffic passage, motorists are asked to please drive with caution and at slower speeds!
The project will require intermittent and extended lane closures on both inbound and outbound 20th Street, as well as some trail closures, through spring 2023. During extended lane closures, thru traffic will be maintained in both directions. Pedestrian access will also be maintained throughout the project duration.
Message boards will be in place in advance of any closures to alert drivers. These message boards will also alert the public if overnight or weekend work is required. All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
During baseball season, travel lanes will reopen two hours before first pitch at Coors Field.
Motorists are encouraged to sign up for travel updates by contacting the public information team at 20streetbridge@gmail.com or (720) 572-4474, as the work schedule is subject to change.
