DOTI Snow Advisory

DOTI plow drivers have been on job since Tuesday

Denver – With a winter storm warning in effect for Denver and more snow on the way, Denver’s plow drivers will remain on duty tonight and tomorrow to respond to the main streets as needed. Snowfall rates Friday could result in several inches of accumulating snow, impacting tomorrow evening’s commute.

Residents are reminded to drive slowly when roads are wet and snowy and to use caution on bridges and overpasses.

Denver will watch how the storm develops to determine if the residential plows will be needed to make side streets passable.  Forecasts are calling for highs to climb into the 40’s this weekend and 50’s next week, which will help the streets rebound from this next snow event.
