Colorado Bike To Work Day 2022 is June 22, 2022.

DENVER – Save a few bucks on fuel this Wednesday and join the thousands of Coloradoans that have pledged to participate in Bike to Work Day. Biking is good for the environment, your health, and your wallet!

Denver’s Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI) is celebrating Bike to Work Day by hosting one of the region’s largest breakfast stations on Bannock Street in front of the Denver City and County Building. People on bikes can make a pit stop on their way into work to enjoy free breakfast burritos and coffee, visit with participating vendors, and celebrate more connections created through Denver’s bike program!

The buildout of Denver’s bike network furthers Mayor Hancock’s Mobility Action Plan to provide people with more and better transportation choices. The City has committed to installing 125 miles of new bikeways by 2023, improving connections between Denver’s neighborhoods and popular destinations. 103 of the 125 miles of new bike lanes have been installed since 2018.

Here are a few highlights of what you’ll find at this year’s breakfast station on Bannock:

  • Grab a free Santiago’s breakfast burrito (limited supply).
  • Coffee provided by the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG)
  • Receive a bike tune up with bike techs from Elevation Cycles.
  • Lime scooter/e-bike test rides
  • Register your bicycle with the Denver Police Department.
  • Enjoy music provided by KBCO
