All Denver residents deserve to be connected, supported, safe and well. Unfortunately, people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) are more likely to be isolated than their peers without I/DD.
That’s why it’s important that we connect people with I/DD to supportive services and community-based programs that offer valuable relationships and opportunities. It’s also why we support efforts to expand equitable access to programs and institutions while elevating the voices of the I/DD community within government and the community at-large.
If you have interest in partnering with IDDEAS to bring a new service or program to the community, consider applying for our open funding opportunities below. Contact iddeas@denvergov.org with questions.
Have an idea for a new program or service that is not listed? Please share it with us during public comment at our next advisory council meeting or complete our public comment form.
Current Funding Opportunities
Stability Navigation and Rapid Rehousing Services
Denver Human Services (DHS) IDDEAS Mill Levy Program is excited to announce a partnership with Denver’s Department of Housing Stability (HOST) to support vulnerable Denver residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) experiencing housing insecurity and homelessness.
Through this partnership, HOST invites qualified partners to submit proposals for Stability Navigation and Rapid Rehousing Services outlined in this Request for Proposals (RFP).
Funding for this project is made available by the Denver Human Services IDDEAS Mill Levy Program. With the exchange of expertise and resources from both City agencies, this partnership will elevate access to safe, stable housing wrapped with individualized, long-term support services. While HOST is ultimately publishing this Request for Proposals (RFP) and managing any future contracts, DHS will provide structural support, subject matter expertise and connections to resources during the procurement, scope of work negotiations, and throughout the duration of any awarded contracts.
