The Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Equitable Access to Services (IDDEAS) Program manages a local tax fund dedicated to services and supports for Denver residents with I/DD. IDDEAS dollars improve the quality of life for Denver residents with I/DD across five pillars of services identified in partnership with community stakeholders: gaps in services, housing, inclusion, mental health and technology.
Using these pillars as our guide, we work to create programs that:
We know the services we offer must be as unique as the people we serve. We collect feedback from our IDDEAS Advisory Council and other community and stakeholder groups who have experience with I/DD. We use that feedback to fund programs and services tailored to the wants and needs of our community.
You can find examples of IDDEAS-funded services and more information about our program partners by visiting our Explore IDDEAS-Funded Programs page.
We want to hear from you! Tell us about the programs and services you love… and those that you don’t! What is working well, what can we do better, and what new services would you like to see? To share your feedback, email us at iddeas@denvergov.org, complete our public comment form, or attend one of our advisory council meetings and share during public comment.
Visit our programs page to learn more about the kind of services and supports funded by IDDEAS.
You have the right to get help with spoken or written language, sign language interpretation, live captioning, or accommodations for disabilities. If you need any of these services, you can ask for them in person or by emailing iddeas@denvergov.org at least three business days before you need them. You won't be charged for these services.
