About the IDDEAS Program

The Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Equitable Access to Services (IDDEAS) Program manages a local tax fund dedicated to services and supports for Denver residents with I/DD.  IDDEAS dollars improve the quality of life for Denver residents with I/DD across five pillars of services identified in partnership with community stakeholders: gaps in services, housing, inclusion, mental health and technology.

Five boxes (pillars) that refer to the services provided by IDDEAS. Underneath the boxes is text:

Using these pillars as our guide, we work to create programs that:

  • Pay for person-centered services and resources that aren’t covered by Medicaid or other means
  • Increase access to stable, inclusive, affordable and accessible housing
  • Reduce social isolation
  • Increase accessibility in public spaces
  • Create meaningful access to mental health care
  • Enhance wellness and access through digital equity

We know the services we offer must be as unique as the people we serve. We collect feedback from our IDDEAS Advisory Council and other community and stakeholder groups who have experience with I/DD. We use that feedback to fund programs and services tailored to the wants and needs of our community.
