Barriers, Solutions to Address Housing Needs for People with I/DD Published on October 17, 2024 Denver Human Services (DHS) released a timely landlords and builders assessment in partnership with The Kelsey, a national nonprofit advancing affordable, accessible, and inclusive housing, also known as “disability-forward” housing. DHS IDDEAS Program awards contract to Nonprofit The Kelsey Published on March 26, 2024 The Kelsey is conducting a survey to identify landlord and builder concerns with renting and creating housing accessible to the I/DD community. The findings will be used to develop an outreach plan for engaging with landlords and builders to ensure equitable access to affordable, accessible and inclusive housing for people with I/DD.
