Denver Board of Human Services

The board includes representatives from the community, business sector, and nonprofit and government partners. Together, they provide a broad range of perspectives about Denver Human Services' (DHS) work.

Happening Now: Recruiting New Members

DHS is recruiting new members for the Denver Board of Human Services. We are specifically seeking those who have experience as DHS customers. This Board advises DHS' Executive Director on policy and operation of the department.

Accessibility

Because we’re committed to promoting access and equity on our board, we offer:

  • A stipend of up to $60 for each board meeting you attend ($30/hour with most meetings not exceeding two hours).
  • Any help you may need to attend and share at meetings.
  • Various accommodations: You have the right to get help with spoken or written language, sign language interpretation, live captioning or accommodations for disabilities. If you need any of these services, you can ask for them by emailing William.Fenton@denvergov.org at least three business days before you need them. You won’t be charged for these services.
