NOTICE: Starting July 20 through October 2, the Denver Clerk & Recorder building will be undergoing some exciting remodels to better serve you. Because of construction, in-person recording appointments will be limited during the next few weeks. Marriage and Civil Union licenses will be issued by Virtual Appointments only. Voter Services and Public Trustee services are available via walk-in. If you need to see us in person, secure your appointment ahead of time here. Please remember that copies of recorded documents can be requested 24/7 online here. 

NOTICE: Candidate filing for the vacant Denver City Council At-Large B seat is now open. Interested candidates can pick up petition packets in person at the Denver Clerk & Recorder's office or submit candidate paperwork starting on 8/5. Visit our special elections page here to learn more. 

November 3, 2026 Special Election Information

Denver City Council member Sarah Parady recently announced her intention to resign, effective August 5. A Special Election will run in conjunction with the November Midterm Elections. Click here for more information on the upcoming Special Election to fill that seat.
