Bond Projects
These are the General Obligation (GO) Bond Programs
Vibrant Bond
Southeast Recreation Hub
SE Skate Park Hub: This project will provide access to skateboarding, roller-skating, and other wheeled activities to an existing DPR Sports Complex, creating a Skate Hub, which is one of six Signature Projects from the Outdoor Adventure and Alternative Sports Strategic Plan.
Eisenhower Pool Improvements
This project will provide funding for outdoor pool improvements.
High Line Canal Trail & Dahlia Street Pedestrian Crossing Improvements
This project will construct pedestrian crossing improvements, including but not limited to installing an RRFB pedestrian signal at the intersection of High Line Canal Trail and Dahlia St.
Evans Avenue Improvements
This project will prioritize, design, and construct improvements, which could include but are not limited to, signals and pedestrian crossings on Evans Ave between Colorado Blvd. to S. Downing Street and I-25 to Quebec Street. Specific improvements will be based upon site needs.

Construction of the two acre park at E. Iliff Ave and S. Bellaire St.

Buchtel Multimodal Improvements
The goal is to transform Buchtel Boulevard into a complete street and improve safety, traffic flow and pedestrian connectivity to area businesses, schools and transit stops. Work will last for about 18 months.

Near Southeast Area Plan
After two years of community collaboration, a revised draft of the Near Southeast Area Plan was adopted by the Denver City Council at its meeting Monday, May 22, 2023. The draft plan offers a community vision for Southeast Denver that focuses on more housing options, safer streets and responding to climate change, putting in place policies that will guide city decision-making for the next twenty years for the neighborhoods of Goldsmith, Indian Creek, University Hills North, Virginia Village and Washington Virginia Vale.
