Commissions

The Landmark Preservation Commission and the Lower Downtown Design Review Commission play a key role in for Denver Landmark Preservation by conducting design review for key projects, reviewing and adopting design guidelines, polices and procedures related to preservation and making recommendations to City Council on matters related to historic designation. The commissions are made up of volunteers with specific types of expertise who are appointed by the mayor to serve three-year terms.
