How to get involved

By law, rezoning a property in Denver is a public process. Community members are welcome and encouraged to participate throughout the process. There are multiple ways to get involved. The public may contact the case manager and/or applicant at any time to submit a question or a comment. Once public hearings have been scheduled, all comments submitted by individuals or neighborhood organizations are forwarded to Planning Board and City Council, respectively, for their review as they consider the rezoning. Community members may also speak at public hearings in person or virtually.

After the Planning Board hearing, the public can follow the legislative process and view documents submitted for City Council review on the council's website.
