Extra shelters will be open through at least 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15.
Certificates must be renewed every three years. Expiration dates appear on each certificate.
Please note: Renewals cannot be processed online if the certificate has expired. A certificate that has passed the expiration date must be renewed in person or by mail. If a certificate has been expired for over a year, it will require a reinstatement.
The city does not mail renewal notices.

If this is your first time renewing online, email the following information to Contr.licensing@denvergov.org:
Contractor Licensing will link your certificate to your online account within 24 hours.
You will need to upload a current form of identification (state or military photo ID, passport, temporary/permanent resident card, employment authorization card with photo, etc.) with your renewal application.
After 24 hours, return to your e-permits account and renew your certificate. Follow the prompts online and make sure to upload all required documents before submitting your renewal application.
Online renewals are available for 30 days before your certificate expiration date.

Fill out the supervisor certificate renewal form(PDF, 148KB).

Mail the completed form, a copy of your secure verifiable identification, and payment to:

After completing the above steps, bring the completed form, a copy of your secure verifiable identification, and payment to the Contractor Licensing counter. The counter is located on the second floor of the Wellington Webb Municipal Office Building at 201 W. Colfax Ave., Denver.
