Public Records / CORA

The City and County of Denver is committed to making city government open, accountable and accessible to the public.

Search permit records online (free & instant)

  1. Enter e-permits to register for an e-permits account
  2. Sign into e-permits and then go to the "Development Services" tab
  3. Search building permit records either by date, record type, address, or specific record number

From any record that has an issued permit, use the "Attachments" feature under "Record Info" to download a copy of the permit.

The City started digitizing plans submitted for building permits around 2018; most plans filed before this time were physically filed. Additional fees often apply to retrieve physically filed plans including, but not limited to, offsite retrieval(s) ($50 per box) and/or third party duplication.
