Since the beginning of 2024, the city has added free-to-use electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at five locations around Denver:

  • Environmental Learning for Kids
  • Harvard Gulch Recreation Center
  • Montbello Recreation Center
  • Central Park Recreation Center
  • The Lowry Tennis Courts

With these new additions, there are now 34 Level 2 chargers with 63 available charging ports across the city where you can charge your electric car for free. In the first six months of 2024, 1.7 million miles driven by EVs were powered by city-owned chargers.
