Green Workforce Development Awardees

Denver invests in organizations that create and grow green jobs. Their funding comes from the Climate Protection Fund. Voters created this special revenue fund to cut carbon pollution.

These organizations give workers access to:

  • New skills for a changing market
  • Pre-apprenticeships and apprenticeships
  • Training and support services
  • Fewer barriers to getting employed
  • A path to quality green jobs
  • Fair wages and benefits from employers

The programs they run are especially well suited for:

  • Communities needing more support
  • People of color
  • People in changing industries
