Light Bulb Disposal Options

As buildings explore ways to increase energy efficiency and comply with Denver's building codes and ordinances, lighting will often be at the top of the list. Buildings complying with the Energize Denver requirements for buildings 5,000-24,999 sq. ft., for example, have the option to update their lighting to efficient LED bulbs. The old, inefficient light bulbs will need to be disposed of correctly to avoid dangerous pollutants from entering our soils and water.
