Young adults in Denver are striving to create a greener future. In 2022, due to amazing student activism, Denver Public Schools created a Climate Action Plan to help tackle climate change. Now, our office is partnering with its sustainability team to fund up to $225,000 in student-led projects promoting climate action. Students are the real force leading the projects, which will:

  • Improve energy efficiency
  • Make use of clean energy
  • Reduce waste in schools
  • Expand sustainable transportation
  • Improve Denver's air quality
