5,000 E-Bikes Now on Denver Roads

The Office of Climate Action, Sustainability and Resiliency’s popular electric bike rebate program has put over 5,000 e-bikes in the hands of Denver residents since it launched less than a year ago.Collectively, e-bike users are replacing, on average, over 100,000 vehicle miles every week. E-bikes purchased through this rebate program will reduce 2,000 tons of greenhouse gas emissions per year.

2023 Certifiably Green Denver Equity Funding application launches

Denver has opened its 2023 grant program to help women- and minority-owned small businesses fund their sustainability projects. These grants are for businesses physically located within the City and County of Denver. Businesses can request up to $10,000, and projects must be related to energy efficiency, water conservation, resource management, or sustainable transportation.

Denver to phase out certain gas equipment in commercial buildings

New code requirements to help Denver reach its climate action goals will go into effect for existing commercial and multifamily buildings this week. Starting March 1, the new requirements will apply to gas-powered space and water heating and cooling equipment (such as gas water heaters, A/C units, and furnaces) in commercial and multifamily buildings.

Rebates for Home Energy Upgrades are Now Open

Denver’s popular Climate Action Rebates for home electrification are now open. Homeowners can stack Denver’s rebates on top of Xcel Energy's electrification rebates and rebates and tax credits offered through the Inflation Reduction Act. This will reduce the financial barrier to installing efficient, all-electric equipment.

Denver E-Bike and E-Cargo Bike Rebate Returns January 31

Denver's popular electric bike (e-bike) rebate program is back, with applications opening on Tuesday, January 31 at 11 a.m. Denverites can save $300 off the price of an e-bike, and residents who qualify for the income-qualified rebate can save $1200 off the price of an e-bike. Purchasing an e-cargo bike adds an extra $200.
