The City and County of Denver officially distributes public solicitation documents - Bids and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) - through the BidNet Direct Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System (RMEPS). The Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System (BidNet®) is an on-line notification system that is being utilized by multiple governmental entities. Current Incentive Programs

Incentive programs offered by the Office of Climate Action, Sustainability and Resiliency are application-based, with requirements specific to each program. Selected applicants will enter into a contract with the City and County of Denver in order to receive funds.

What to Include When Applying for RFPs

All public solicitations from the Office of Climate Action, Sustainability & Resiliency (CASR) are posted to BidNet at BidNetDirect.com. Each Request for Proposal (RFP) will include a checklist of required documentation, forms, etc. detailing what you need to include in your proposal.

The most common requirements at this time are:

  1. W-9
  2. Completion of Denver’s Diversity and Inclusiveness Form (complete the form here). This form needs to be submitted for each RFP you apply for.
  3. Certificate of Good Standing (CGS) with the Colorado Secretary of State. This certificate will be requested if you are awarded a contract with the city. While the CGS is not required for RFPs, it is required if you enter into a contract with the city. If you anticipate doing business with the city you may wish to obtain this now so you are ready when awarded a contract. Visit the CGS website for more information.
