Denver Elections Conducts Successful Logic and Accuracy Test

Published on October 09, 2024

The Denver Elections Division conducted a successful Logic and Accuracy Test today, October 9. This test is conducted prior to every election to ensure equipment is tabulating accurately.

The process is overseen by a bipartisan board made up of one Republican board member, Mr. Steve Gurr and one Democratic board member, Mr. Marc Kamin, and elected Denver Clerk and Recorder Paul López.

“We conducted a successful Logic and Accuracy Test today. The test ballots filled out by our bipartisan team matched the scanner tally, which matched hand tally, which means our machines are ready to accurately tabulate votes for the upcoming General Election,” says Denver Clerk and Recorder Paul López. “Ballots will be mailed out to voters on Friday, October 11.  Please don't wait until the last minute to return yours. Our 45 24-hour secure ballot drop boxes will be open waiting to receive your signed ballot envelopes.”
