Published on November 22, 2024

Today, Denver Clerk and Recorder Paul D. López officially certified the Denver Elections Division’s General Election results.

Bipartisan board directors for the Republican and Democratic parties, along with Clerk López conducted a final review of the 369,452 votes cast in Denver this election and certified the results this morning.

Earlier this week, the Denver Elections Division successfully completed a Risk-Limiting Audit of a percentage of votes in one federal race, one statewide race, and one municipal race. Denver, along with every other county in Colorado, passed the audit.

“I’m extremely proud of the work done by our 1,023 citizen election workers and staff in administering the 2024 General Election,” Denver Clerk and Recorder Paul López said. “As Denver’s chief elections official, it’s my duty to ensure that every eligible voter has access to a safe, secure, accurate, and transparent election, and that’s exactly what our team delivered.”

The Colorado Secretary of State is expected to certify results shortly after the deadline for counties to complete their canvases.
