Food wholesale is any establishment engaged in the business of selling at wholesale, processing, storing, handling or packaging of food intended for human consumption. If you sell food products directly to consumers (retail) and you also sell at wholesale, you are not required to have both a Retail and Wholesale license for that location. Instead, you must be licensed in the category of your principal or primary business function.
