Daytime warming centers are activated for Friday, Jan. 23 and Saturday, Jan. 24. Denver Parks and Recreation will open all currently operating recreation centers as daytime warming centers during regular business hours.Denver's cold weather shelters will open at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 16 and will remain open as long as cold weather conditions continue.
Thank you for your interest in completing your court ordered community service hours at Denver Animal Shelter. Before you fill out our application, please read below.
- Community Service applications must be for court ordered community service only. We do not accept applications for community service needed for school or other programs. Please see our page regarding our volunteer program for those requests.
- We can only accept court ordered community service applications for 24 hours or more. Anything less and we are not able to accept your application.
- We only accept applications for individuals 18 and older.
- We do not accept applications with charges for theft, domestic violence, or animal cruelty/neglect.
