Denver Parks and Recreation will open all currently operating recreation centers to the public as cooling centers during regular business hours.Denver Central Library will open at 11 a.m. and extend hours to 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Carla Madison Recreation Center will open at 8 a.m. and extend hours until 8 p.m. on both days.

Most city agencies are closed for the holiday. Other agencies may have impacted hours. Agencies that operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, such as Denver International Airport, and sworn members of the Denver Sheriff, Police and Fire departments and other emergency responders will continue to be available.
