Green Drinks. Greener Future and Food Systems.

An aerial shot of matcha in a mug

We’re excited to be doing matcha with Blue Sparrow Coffee. Not only does their matcha taste great, now through the end of the year 10¢ from every one sold will be donated to Zero Foodprint. Sip it hot or cold, sweeten it or skip any additions, either way this organic, first harvest, shaded matcha is the real deal that’s helping make a real impact.

Zero Foodprint (ZFP) is a nonprofit organization restoring the climate, one acre at a time. They believe that by regenerating soil, local food economies can play a critical role in reversing the global climate crisis. They work with food and beverage businesses, philanthropy and government to bring the next dollar to implement the next regenerative practice on the next acre. This regenerative economy benefits every person who grows food, every person who sells food, and every person on this planet who eats food. So, you know, all of us!

Committed to Coffee… and the Climate

Blue Sparrow Coffee is the recipient of 24/7 Wall St. and Food & Wine’s designations as one of the best coffee shops in America and a Certifiably Green Denver Business Award. But it doesn’t stop there. Blue Sparrow Coffee has always been deeply passionate about their coffee and their sustainability work. Over the last four years, they’ve focused on waste, energy, and water usage; completing sustainability trainings with their baristas; publishing annual sustainability reports; collaborating with local artists, schools, and non-profits, and still finding time for experimentation (even going so far as hiding AirTags in their recyclables to really see where it ends up and upcycling butter croissants). You can learn more by checking out the reports on their website.
