When planning for TOD, a transit corridor is best defined as the walkable areas around all of the stations along a transit line. Any transit technology can define a transit corridor – commuter or light rail, streetcar, trolley or bus. The TOD potential depends more on the design and quality of service than it does on transit technology. Things to consider:
Light-rail line running from Downtown Denver to Broadway Station.
Commuter-rail line running from Denver Union Station to Denver International Airport.
Commuter-rail line running from Denver Union Station to Arvada.
Commuter-rail line connecting the East and Southeast corridors.
Commuter-rail line running from Denver Union Station to the northern suburbs.
Light-rail line running from Broadway Station to the Denver Tech Center and Lone Tree.
Light-rail line running from Broadway Station to Littleton.
Light-rail line running from Denver Union Station to the Jefferson County Government Center.
