General Statement of Work:
The City and County of Denver (City) is soliciting Requests for Qualifications from Design Teams to provide Architectural and Engineering Professional Services for the Denver Police District 6 (“DPD 6”) Replacement Project.
The primary goal of this project is to remodel/retrofit DPD 6 at its current location at 1556 North Washington Street. This will include a new annex type facility and a review of a possible permanent parking structure. Construction will likely be in a single phase with construction delivery method to be Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC).
This project is part of the 2017 Elevate Denver Bond Program, which is a 10-year, $937 million general obligation bond program approved by voters in 2017. The program will enhance the City and County of Denver by providing critical improvements to the City’s infrastructure – improving our roads, sidewalks, parks, recreation centers, libraries, cultural centers, public-owned buildings and safety facilities. MWBE Participation Goal: 20%
The requirement must be met with certified firms, §§ 28-62, 28-66, D.R.M.C., or through the demonstration of a sufficient good faith effort. §§ 28-60, 28-64, D.R.M.C. A proposed MWBE Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Plan (MWBE EDI Plan), also known as a Utilization Plan, is required as part of the RFQ response and will be scored. DSBO’s approval of the MWBE EDI Plan will be required prior to contract execution.
