- A statewide look at community topics

Public art projects at DIA, Broomfield and Durango.  Also celebrate the 100th Anniversary of a little red schoolhouse-turned arts center in Greenwood Village, and we’ll visit Lone Tree, which has one of the state’s newest arts centers.  Plus a new addition to Aurora’s History Museum is being added to house a lovingly-restored abandoned trolley trailer!

Denver Loft Sessions

- Local Performers Featured in an Intimate Studio Setting.

August 1 - 13, Na’an Stop, pronounced (non-stop), is a band whose  fusion of roots, rock, reggae and ska will surely get a crowd moving. The vibrant horn section, vocal harmonies, and captivating stage presence create a unique sound that is hard to resist.

August 15 - 27,  Bonnie and the Beard is a three-piece band creating a gypsy influenced southern rock sound that is a combination of folk, blues and country. Their songs conjured up images of the wild frontier and all have a fun feel, enhanced by a dynamic presence and energy.

Weekends: Fri. at 8 & 11:30 p.m.; Sat. 11:30 a.m. & 11:00 p.m.; Sunday at 9 p.m.;

Weekdays: Tuesday at 3 p.m.; Wednesday at 12:30 p.m.

Denver Press Club

- Media notables talk about their craft

Anne Marie discusses  a series of reassuring and humorous letters sent to a 4-year-old girl by her father, who was serving as a medical officer during some of the darkest moments of the war “Letters to Ann: The Korean War 1950-1951,”

- The Denver District Attorney tackles legal topics


One of the most vulnerable populations we have today is our elderly community. And recognizing that, we now have a new state law that helps protect them from abuse. Maro Casparian is the Consumer Fraud Director at the DA’s Office, and Juanita Rios Johnston is with Adult Protective Services.

Sydney Australia delivers Boy and Bear, one of its top acts. The five piece outfit has a sound that ranges from laid-back ballads to rockers which may remind listeners Tom Petty.
