Smart Cards / Cash Keys

Smart Cards are an easy way to pay for parking at Denver’s new Smart Meters! The Smart Card is a pre-loaded plastic card (credit card sized) that is available in the amounts of $5, $15, $25, $50 and $100. There is no additional charge or deposit when purchasing a ParkSmart Denver card – simply pay the face value of the card! ParkSmart Denver cards are not re-loadable and should be recycled when they are empty.

Cash Keys

Denver's new Smart Meters will not accept the Cash Key. While most meters in Denver will transition to Smart Meters, there will still be some original meters on the street that will accept Denver’s Cash Keys, and you can choose to continue to re-load it at the first floor of the Webb Building, or you can cash it in. To cash it in, bring your Cash Key and photo ID to the Webb Building and we’ll mail you a check within six weeks for any money left on the key.
