Tuition and Fees University of CO at Denver

 

Public Safety Cadet hourly pay rate:  $10.96 an hour

Public Safety Cadets are classified on-call training positions not eligible for benefits and may work up to 39 hours per week.  

Typically during school breaks and summer recess Cadets may work up to 39 hours per week.  When school is in session Cadets may work up to 25 hours per week. 

Average annual salary per Cadet:  $17,623 (assuming 30 weeks a year at 25 work hours a week and 22 weeks a year at 39 work hours a week)

Currently there are 36 Public Safety Cadets employed by the City and County of Denver.  The Cadet program is budgeted at $975,762 for 2012.
