Rent a Facility for Special Events
Your major event could be a wedding, a business meeting, a world-class family reunion, art show or more! And you can hold your event at one of Denver Parks and Recreation’s five historic and architecturally exciting mountain lodges or park pavilions. These beautiful venues are available for intimate events of 75 to 350 people. Learn more about fees for facility rentals.
 



City Park Pavilion:
In the midst of Denver’s premier urban park
17th Avenue and York Street

This elegant Spanish-style landmark features towers and arches that offer an expansive view of the entire park, which includes Ferrill and Duck Lake and graceful footpaths among sweeping  tree-scapes. This is among Denver Parks and Recreation’s largest venues, with a spacious room that includes facilities for a staging kitchen.

Available mid - April to mid-October
Hours available 10 a.m. - 11 p.m. (maximum rental nine hours/day)
Basic  fees $350 - $600 per event (security deposit $200)


Chief Hosa Lodge in Genesee Park:
Less than a 30 minute drive to the mountains west of Denver.
Exit 253 Off westbound I-70

The Lodge was built in 1918 by architect Jules Jacques Benedict, and named after an Arapaho tribal leader who was given the honorary title ‘Hosa’ by the Ute tribe which meant peaceful and beautiful. Sweeping views of the Continental Divide surround the Lodge’s patio areas, which complement its 3,000 square feet of indoor meeting space. Rental includes exclusive use of grounds, lodge and an on-site facilitator.

Available year-round (higher rates on holidays)
Hours available 10 a.m. - 11 p.m. (minimum rental four hours)
Basic fees $110 - $480 per hour (security deposit $200 - $400) plus kitchen fees $200-$400

Montclair Civic Building – The Molkery: 
Less than five miles from central downtown.
6820 East 12th Avenue

Wide, spacious porches wrap around this historical treasure built by Baron Walter Von Richtofen in 1888 as he sought to develop Monclair as a ‘suburb’ and lure residents from downtown Denver. The building was extensively renovated and offers a spacious 975 square foot meeting room, catering kitchen and parking. Rental includes tables and chairs and an on-site facilitator.

Available year-round
Hours available 8 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Basic fees $50-$100 per hour (deposit $200) plus kitchen fee $35


Pavilion at Central Park 
MLK Boulevard and Xenia Street
The Pavilion at Central Park is our newest facility, and is located in Central Park in Stapleton along Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.  The Pavilion features a large glass-enclosed main room with views of the park and the Front Range mountains, as well as two outdoor patios.  Tables, chairs and a staging kitchen for caterers are also available.  The Pavilion can accommodate up to 100 guests from mid-April through mid-October, with use of the outdoor patios, and up to 60 guests during the colder months when the patios are closed.

Rental Rates:
Weekdays Before 4 PM - $40/hr
Evenings and Weekends - $75/hr
Kitchen Use Fee - $35 (flat rate)
Deposit (refundable) - $200


Washington Park Boathouse:
East Exposition Avenue and South Humboldt Street

Architect Jules Jacques Benedict built this spacious, outdoor pavilion in 1913 on the south shore of Smith Lake, with a spectacular view of Washington Park’s legendary flower beds and broad landscape that personifies the ‘City Beautiful Era’ of Denver’s early years.
