DENVER – The Park People and Denver Parks and Recreation’s Forestry Division will host a series of Community Forester workshops to teach volunteers tree biology, planting, pruning, identification and leadership.

Civic Center Park Construction Update
DENVER, CO ­— As part of the Better Denver Bond program, completion of the warranty work on Civic Center Park’s Broadway Terrace is taking longer than originally planned. This portion of the park is now tentatively scheduled to reopen in mid June.

Denver Parks and Recreation reacts to Stage 1 drought resolution
DENVER – In an ongoing effort to work closely with Denver Water and the Denver Water Board of Commissioners regarding the resolution today declaring a Stage 1 drought, Denver Parks and Recreation is actively making adjustments to its irrigation schedule, including decreasing its water consumption target 10 percent, starting immediately.
