Welcome to Denver Mountain Parks. This historic system, established in 1912, now consists of 22 developed parks and 24 conservation/wilderness areas encompassing approximately 14,141 acres of mountain and foothills land owned by the City & County of Denver.

Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave
The Buffalo Bill Museum and grave is located about 30 minutes to the west of Denver. The museum is in Lookout Mountain Park.
Red Rocks Amphitheatre
The amphitheatre is a world class concert venue in a setting of massive rock formations 15 miles west of Denver.
Denver Mountain Parks Foundation
The Foundation, created in 2004, helps support projects in the Mountain Parks.
