Thank you for visiting our web site. My name is Joaquin Gonzales Chief Inspector for Zoning and Neighborhood Inspection Services (NIS).

N I S  is responsible for the inspection of private properties in the City & County of Denver for code compliance and development use.

We are here to help you with complaints and or concerns that pertain to the use or misuse of property within the City & County of Denver.

 

Our Inspectors have extensive knowledge of the Denver Codes.

Zoning and Neighborhood Inspections (NIS) ensures compliance with the property use and development provisions of the Denver Zoning Code through inspections and property owner education.  The section enforces the Denver Revised Municipal Code requirements concerning the external condition of private property.  When necessary, the staff facilitates limited abatement of private properties.

For walk-in and phone consultations, inspectors are available

Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.

Chiefs` are available 2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m
